Benefits of Yoga Therapy

Our guest speaker this month is Lisa J. Haskins, Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT, 1000).
Curious about this holistic approach to well-being and the benefits? Are you asking yourself, “What is yoga therapy?” Lisa will share some tools and techniques of therapeutic yoga including breathing practices and a short mindfulness meditation designed to ease anxiety. She will also guide participants through a short sequence of adapted postures to improve balance and strength. At the end of the session, she will lead participants through a reclined relaxation designed to support improved sleep.
