With Your Doctor
The best way to communicate with your doctor between appointments is to send a message through the MyChart portal.
If you’re not sure how to set up your account, or have questions about how to use it, please refer to https://www.inova.org/patients-visitors/mychart/faq.
When patients are in hospital, they are under the care of the hospital team. We’ve created a letter for you to share with your hospital medical providers with some basic information about Parkinson’s medications, and our contact info, to encourage them to consult with our team before making any changes to the patient’s medications.
Please download our letter and share with your medical providers in hospital and/or in rehabilitation. You can include it to your Parkinson’s Foundation Aware in Care Kit.
Patient Support Programs
When paying for your medications at the pharmacy, you may find that the amount you’re being asked to pay is substantial. If that’s the case, please contact our office at 703-845-1500 and we can help you to reduce the cost.
Pharmaceutical companies also offer Patient Support Programs that can assist you.
